Flood Zone

As you may have seen on the news, we were pounded by rain a few days ago. Here are some images from the Trinity River, which flows not too far from us. There is a small man-made dam with a walking bridge over the top. You can see on the cement how high the water was during the flash flood warning. There are also cement bars that line the river to prevent erosion. Those were moved downstream along with numerous sandbags.
