We're melting!
Alas, our little dude is sound asleep. It took awhile for him to drift off. Perhaps he can't tolerate the heat. We've had two hot days above 100, which is unusual for spring. Unfortunately, the power companies plan upgrades during the month of April to prepare for the hot summer weather. Mother Nature caught them off guard; thus, the rolling blackouts. You know, I've always heard about rolling blackouts on the news, but had never experienced one. Probably the worst place you could be is in traffic approaching a series of traffic lights with pedestrians attempting to cross the street. What a freak show. Luckily, we were at home and the power went out for fifteen minutes at a time. Tomorrow looks to be cooler, only 80. You know you live in tornado country when the forecasters talk about the "dry line". The humidity rises and falls based on the location of the "dry line". It keeps the weather interesting and unpredictable.
Our little dude just woke up screaming bloody murder. Maybe he had a nightmare. I wonder what babies dream about? Maybe Carl dreams about drowning in Gerber rice cereal. ;-)
